Imagine Al, gripping the steering wheel while zooming down the highway at the speed of light. His sunglasses are on, and the wind is blowing through his hair—if only he were going that fast in a spaceship instead of a car!

Meanwhile, Ray is in the passenger seat, eyes wide, clutching the dashboard like it’s the last life raft on the Titanic. He’s thinking, “Is this what friendship looks like?!” As Al careens towards the next stop, Ray is praying for just one bathroom break—because at this speed, there’s no time for pit stops!

As they pass through Chattanooga, Nashville, and St. Louis, Al is shouting about how they’re making history. Ray, on the other hand, is pretty sure he’s just making a mess of his lunch. The only thing getting broken is the sound barrier—and maybe a few traffic laws! In Nashville, they hit 12 stops in a day – probably spent more time finding parking than actually seeing anything. In St. Louis, they crammed 7 stops into a single day, which is impressive until you realize 5 of those were different BBQ joints.

When they finally reach the Harry Truman and Eisenhower libraries, Ray asks, "Al, do you think we could maybe slow down for a history lesson, or is that too much to ask?”

Grand Teton? 13 stops. At that point, they’re not sightseeing; they’re just running a scavenger hunt. Yellowstone? 21 stops. The bison are tired just watching them.

By the time they hit Glacier National Park for 12 stops, Al’s eyes are bloodshot, and Ray’s praying the brakes hold out. Mount Rainier, 8 stops – probably 7 too many for a mountain that’s literally just there. Seattle? 8 stops, where they saw everything but the Space Needle because “we’ll catch it next time.”

Finally, 14 stops in Vancouver in one day. The only thing they missed was common sense and a good night’s sleep. At this point, the car’s running on fumes and sheer spite. But hey, at least they can say they “saw it all” – just not for more than 5 minutes at a time.
